Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) is a private medical school located in Bridgetown, Barbados. However, it was previously situated in Portsmouth, Dominica, and before that, in Basseterre, St. Kitts. The university has a long history dating back to 1978 when it was founded by Robert Ross and his associates. Initially, the school was established in St. Kitts, but due to various reasons, including Hurricane Georges in 1998, the university relocated to Dominica in 1999.
